Fashion, art, and endless inspiration: Miami Beach’s annual Art Basel event has it all. This year, from December 5th until December 8th, Miami’s most iconic neighborhoods – Miami Beach, Wynwood Art District, and the Design District to name a few – were flooded with art installations, exhibits, and parties to connect leading collectors, galleries, and artists from across the globe.
This year, Rebag and the Daily Front Row kicked off Art Basel with a party on December 4th at the Rebag location in Miami’s Design District. An endless parade of the fashion elite stopped by as they made their way along many of the installations and exhibits.
The vibe? Downtown Miami cool. Neon lighting set the ambiance while guests floated through the store admiring Rebag’s selection of most imaginative handbags from the likes of Chanel, Versace, Fendi, and more. Some mingled with glasses of white, red, or rosé wine (pro-tip: rosé season is never over in Miami), while others danced along to today’s best music by DJ Leigh Lezark of The Misshapes. The weather was nothing to scoff at, either; many guests took advantage of the courtyard, enjoying the cool evening air while gazing at Rebag’s handbag mural custom-painted by Queen Andrea lit up in neon. Notable attendees included Larsen Thompson, Shaun Ross, Sofia Resing, Victoria Brito, Blake Gray, and Rebag founder and CEO Charles Gorra.
