Our NYFW Guide

Where to Explore in NYC During Fashion Week

The highly anticipated fashion week has finally fallen upon New York City, driving all of the fashion addicts to take to the streets as they flit from show to show, or for others, hang out outside of studios and venues hoping for an in, or to simply soak up the environment. We don’t blame them. Nothing else is quite as thrilling as watching beautifully dressed men and women adorned in the most covetable clothing and accessories there is known to man.

Whether you yourself are attending shows or are just looking for the best street style, Rebag has you covered on where to go while roaming the streets of Midtown, Soho, Meatpacking – you name it, we’ve got it.

Where to Shop

Soho

Only steps away from Milk Studios and other fashion show spots, Soho is the neighborhood for shopping. For one, the neighborhood is beautiful – old cobblestone streets, lovely French-inspired buildings, and tiny little shops or cafes spilling out onto the sidewalk by way of shoppable racks of goods or delicious-smelling treats.

The area is occupied by none other than the best brands, a variety of shops and vendors that cater to all different crowds. Will you walk into Dior, or Supreme? Do it all. Of course, and because we simply must plug, a stop into the Rebag flagship location on 390 W Broadway is also a must.

Restaurant to Indulge

The Library Bar & Nomo Kitchen

This contemporary and stylish space can be found in none other than the Nomo Soho Hotel, where many fashion week attendees come to stay from out of town. Located in the heart of Soho at 9 Crosby St, it’s the prime spot to grab lunch or dinner after a day of shopping (see above!) or a day of sprinting from show to show. It may be September, but it’ll be warm – you can cool off with a 'Blue Field' cocktail comprised of gin and sparkling wine, or pretend that summer isn’t really over with a helping of house-made focaccia and fresh scallops.

Bar to Unwind:

Talk about sleek and stylish. Come on in for a nightcap at The Blond at 11 Howard St, close to the action downtown but sensual and romantic enough to help you unwind. All of the who’s who from fashion week with undoubtedly end up at The Blond at some point, so it’s excellent for people watching. Slide your way over to the bar, consisting of dark wood accents, low lighting, and gilded touches, and choose from an expansive cocktail list naming drinks such as the smoky Gentleman Prefer or the spicy Bombshell.
