Van Cleef & Arpels Perlée Collection

Jewelry 101

A Brief History

The Van Cleef & Arpels Perlée Collection was  first introduced 2008. The brand drew inspiration from the delicate beading often showcased in French haute couture. At the time of its release,  it comprised a range of rings, bracelets,  necklaces, and earrings.

The Perlée Technique

The labor-intensive, high-skilled technique  involves using a small drill to make evenly  spaced holes which are then filled with tiny  beads or pearls. These are then carefully  secured using a special bead-setting tool.

Distinctive Design

Perlée pieces are characterized by polished,  clean lines and modern silhouettes, with three defining features: golden beads, diamond  clove motifs, and the occasional calligraphed Van Cleef & Arpels signature.

The Perlée Couleurs Collection

The Couleurs collection features a range of stunning gemstones including turquoise, carnelian, and onyx. Designed to be mixed and matched or stacked with classic Perlée pieces, Couleurs adds a pop of color to any look.

The Finest Materials

Every piece within the collection is meticulously crafted from premium materials, all carefully selected to meet the brand's exacting quality standards. The variety of gold and gemstones used gives Perlée its joyful identity.

Styling Your Perlée Pieces

The beaded designs offer texture and  dimension and pair well with other jewelry. Perlée pieces are versatile and can be dressed up or down according to the occasion.
