If you’re hungry for style inspiration and an inspired meal, look no
further than Serena Goh to curb your appetite. A self-described storyteller, Serena is a wealth of inspiration to her hundreds of thousands of followers; from recipes to red-carpet-worthy looks, there’s truly nothing she can’t do. With Lunar New Year upon us, we asked the queen of food & fashion how she plans on celebrating the Year of the Ox in style.
Do you and your family typically celebrate Lunar New Year?
Serena: Yes! My family and I typically celebrate Lunar New Year. This year, I’ll be in New York celebrating over hot pot with a small group of friends.
What’s your favorite Lunar New Year tradition?
Serena: We keep all the traditions like passing out red envelopes and wearing red, but my favorite tradition is family hot pot and activities that remind me of my late grandma, like burning joss paper and peach-shaped kueh (紅粿桃).
How would you accessorize your outfit for 2021’s Year of the Ox?
Serena: I would accessorize with some gold elements and a classic bag like the Louis Vuitton Red Capucines Leather Bag — plenty of room to store my red envelopes.
What are a few Rebag items that you would love to gift to your friends and family who celebrate the holiday?
Serena:
Chanel Round CC Brooch
Chanel Medallion Clip On Earrings
Louis Vuitton Heart Coin Purse
Louis Vuitton Jewelry Tray
Louis Vuitton Cosmetic Pouch
