Daniel Lee’s Debut Collection with Burberry

After being appointed chief creative officer in September of last year, Daniel Lee has unveiled his first collection for the iconic British fashion house.

A New Beginning

Largely considered one of the top British designers in the world, Daniel Lee, who is said to draw inspiration from London, a city that “champions pioneering creativity,” shared post-show his intention to “celebrate what’s great about the country” with his first collection. Lee definitely knows how to revamp popular brands – as we saw with Bottega Veneta – and has developed a new style at Burberry that is both chic and edgy. He steered away from the classic beige trench coats, instead utilizing a deep color palette to revive the iconic check print.

Eye-Catching Accessories

Known for his creative approach to accessories, Lee showcased a number of unique pieces in his first collection with Burberry including faux fur handbags and crochet duck hats.

The Front Row

The highly anticipated collection drew a number of A-list celebrities to the runway. Everyone from Anna Wintour to British It-couple Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham were sitting in the front
