By The Rebag Team, May 17, 2022
Louis Vuitton traveled to the Salk Institute for Cruise 2023.
The architecturally-stunning 1965 Brutalist structure designed by Louis I. Khan served as the setting for Louis Vuitton’s 2023 Cruise collection. Timed to take place with the Southern California sunset in San Diego, the Louis Vuitton Resort 2023 show dazzled.
Nicolas Ghesquière selected the architecturally-stunning 1965 Brutalist structure designed by Louis I. Khan for the picturesque backdrop of Louis Vuitton’s 2023 Cruise collection. Set against the Southern California sunset in San Diego, the Louis Vuitton Resort 2023 collection featured an array of looks that were just as architectural as the setting in which they were debuted. The result was a sculptural display featuring mirrored embellishments that reflected the light of the sun. Louis Vuitton also debuted a collection of bags made in collaboration with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, unveiling the next polka dot-covered chapter in a partnership that started in 2012.
