Tiffany & Co. 101: America’s First House of Fine Jewelry
Tiffany & Co., America’s luxury jewelry house, started in 1837, and grew into the country’s premier jeweler. The house is the creative force behind such American icons as the Great American Seal, the New York Yankees logo, and the NFL Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Trophy. It also served as the backdrop for Breakfast at Tiffany’s Truman Capote’s iconic novella that inspired the 1961 romantic comedy starring Audrey Hepburn.
