During NYFW the popular Fendi Baguette celebrated 25 years since its 1997 debut. Celebrities gathered for the Fendi Resort 2023 runway show to celebrate the iconic handbag.
The Fendi Baguette appearance on Sex and the City catapulted the handbag to It bag status, turning it into one of history’s most iconic accessories. Sarah Jessica Parker (pictured above) sat front row at the show.
Fendi artistic directors Kim Jones and Silvia Venturini Fendi tapped Marc Jacobs, Tiffany & Co., and Porter to collaborate on the Fendi Resort 2023 collection. The brand traveled to the US to celebrate the bag in the city that made it famous — New York.
Jacobs reinterpreted the Baguette, making it oversized, while Tiffany & Co. coated Baguettes in its signature Tiffany Blue, and Japanese luggage company Porter gave it a masculine twist, unveiling a backpack and a new Fendi Baguette bum bag.
The Fendi Baguette was presented in numerous ways throughout the collection. Fendi Baguette charms dangled on long chain necklaces and had gloves and beanies adorned with mini FF-branded Baguette pockets.
Celebrities, Winnie Harlow, Kim Kardashian, S arah Jessica Parker, and Naomi Watts were seen sitting next to each other in the front row.
Lila Moss (pictured above), Kate Moss's daughter, opened the Fendi 2023 resort show – making her mom, sitting front row, very proud. Linda Evangelista – who recently returned to modeling – made an appearance in a majestic turquoise cape as Venturini, Jones, Jacobs and Delfina Delettrez took their bows. Bella Hadid strutted the runway wearing a Tiffany blue jumpsuit and holding the new Tiffany blue Fendi Baguette.
Kate Moss (pictured above), Kim Kardashian, Winnie Harlow, Amber Valetta, Shalom Harlow, Lily Allen, Nina Garcia, Aimee Song, Anna Cleveland, and many more attended the runway show with a Fendi Baguette in hand.
