Roman jewelry giant Bvlgari invited ambassadors and tastemakers to their Mediterranea High Jewelry event in Venice, Italy. Guests, who gathered together at the Palazzo Ducale, were the first to view the newest collection.
Global ambassadors Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Priyanka Chopra, and Blackpink's Lisa sat front row and were decked out in Bvlgari pieces and stunning evening gowns.
The new collection includes three different lines, each inspired by the different landscapes and flourishing colors in the Mediterranean.
The first line in the collection, Southern Radiance, captures the essence of the wild landscapes and striking colors of the Mediterranean region. This line showcases deep blue sapphires originating from Zambia, Sri Lanka, and Burma and. of course, plenty of diamonds.
Bvlgari presented a new serpent necklace as a part of the Southern Radiance line. Despite many differences in ancient Mediterranean cultures, serpents were widely believed to be a sign of wisdom, vitality, and protection. This model is made from white diamonds and a blue sapphire found in Zambia.
Greco-Roman influences shape the world around us, from literature to architecture, art, and more. It is their grandeur that serves as the inspiration for the Roman Splendor line, which showcases luxe green emeralds and stones on each piece.
A standout piece of the Roman Splendor line, the Muse of Rome necklace represents the heart of Rome. Just like the Città Eterna wasn't built in a day, finding the proper stone for this piece took some time — and travel: the breathtaking, 218.53 carats emerald was found in Colombia.
The third and final line is inspired by the fascinating culture and exquisite surroundings of two of Italy's most renowned cities: Rome and Venice. This colorful universe widely showcases an array of white diamonds, antique emeralds, and different gemstones.
Symbolizing a garden full of colors and seeds from all over the world, the Oriental Buds Necklace is one of the most vibrant pieces from the Mediterranea collection. The extraordinary model features antique cabochon emeralds from Colombia rising from diamond-shaped petals.
