The French house's signature, tweed has long been associated with Chanel. It now serves as the inspiration for their most recent high jewellery collection, unveiled at London's Royal Horticultural Halls.
The second chapter in the Tweed de Chanel high-jewellery line, the 2023 collection features five new tweed jewelry weaves, each adorned with an icon that was dear to Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. Tap through to explore.
“With the second collection, I worked with more details, more flexibilities, more colors,” said Patrice Leguéreau, Director of Chanel’s Fine Jewelry Studio. The resulting pieces are full of gemstones brought together through intricate lattices of metalwork and settings that evoke the weave of tweed.
Several of the label's most recognizable motifs are present throughout the breathtaking line, including camellia flowers, lionheads, and white ribbons.
A standout piece in the collection, this model combines yellow diamonds, sapphires and onyx in shades reminiscent of the starry night sky.
Featuring 18-carat white gold, onyx, and diamonds, this statement bangle is one of the most eye-catching pieces in the luxe line.
Finished after 980 hours of work, this style features pink sapphires, pearls and diamonds in constrating shades, with a design meant to emulate the house's tweed weavings.
The Tweed collection's launch was celebrated at the British Museum, with Chanel ambassador Keira Knightley, pop star Kylie Minogue, and more famous faces in attendance.
