Held in Seoul, South Korea, Gucci's Cruise 2024 show was staged in Gyeongbokgung Palace, the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty, built in 1395.
Despite Sabato De Sarno's recent appointment as creative director for Gucci, this show was imagined by the label's design team. De Sarno's debut is set for later this year, at Milan Fashion Week. The Gucci Cruise 2024 show was was full of oversized silhouettes, glitter-luxe, and sporty styles.
Something to look out for this season, according to Gucci: daytime sparkle. The Florentine fashion giant showcased sparkly handbags, bedazzled trousers, and even sent models in head-to-toe shimmering styles down the runway.
Elevated sportswear remains a strong trend at the Italian fashion house. As for sport accessories, Gucci did not disappoint; items from skateboard bags to surf boards made an appearance on the runway.
South Korean artist, Ram Han, worked hand-in-hand with Gucci to create bold, playful graphics for some of the garments showcased in the collection. This collaboration brought Gucci's Italian flair the South Korean's electric style together.
You can always count on Gucci to bring colorful sneakers into the mix. The bold orange and blue combination and French zipper in these sneakers send them straight into our wish-list for this season.
Long, black coats were rampant in the Gucci Resort 2024 runway. Styled with statement-making sunglasses, and large black boots, the models looked like they were on a mission!
Local icons including Xumeen and Sora Choi paraded down the runway alongside supermodels Karen Elson and Tasha Tilberg.bleh
